Sustainability for Africa
Our Ugandan nonprofit 'Organic Perspectives' has been training rural farmers in organic gardening, agroforestry and alternative household energy since 2007.
But lately, our operational capacity for sustaining this work has greatly diminished.
As such, we need to develop our own community organic farm (mainly for horticulture) to sustain our operational costs--while also working as the training center for our farmers. This is what we are seeking your support for.
Learn about Organic Perspectives previous work here.
The organic farm idea is part of our wider campaign "Sustainability for Africa" that is aimed at building self-sufficiency for Africa's grassroots social sector players: http://www.sustainabilityforafrica.org
By donating $5, you will greatly help us to put together the basic pieces for our self-sufficiency strategy, particularly land for our community organic farm.
