Here is an example of just how much $5USD can help. Huge difference. No cost.

Bus fare to work in the inner city.

The Los Angeles Conservation Corps provides paid work experience, job skills training and educational opportunities for underprivileged youth, ages 14 - 24 years old, who in turn, provide vital conservation and environmental projects benefiting the community throughout the Southern California region. The LA Corps provides access to a high school diploma through our charter school, post-secondary scholarships, case management and job-readiness services for our participants. For more information, please visit our website.

The majority of our corpsmembers have previously dropped out of school and are trying to put their life back on a successful path with very few resources - every dollar counts!

We have five work centers throughout the greater Los Angeles area in East LA, South LA, Downtown LA, Redondo Beach and Griffith Park. Projects can be visited between 8am and 3pm on weekdays at various locations throughout the city. To make arrangements, please contact [email protected].
