Here is an example of just how much $5USD can help. Huge difference. No cost.

$5 enables a child under five years old to test and treat for malaria.

Childcare and Development Organisation (Uganda), is a registered (S.5914/4476), Christian local non profit organisation seeking to improve the socio-economic well being of vulnerable and orphaned children, families and the whole community, with our current focus in Gulu District- Uganda.

CDO Uganda is a story of commitment by its founders to bring love, hope and help to address the challenges faced by thousands of children in Northern Uganda, who have been orphaned by 23 years civil war and affected by the HIV AIDS pandemic, they are in need of health, education and care.

Since its inception in 2001, CDO (Uganda) has developed in size and scope to provide health, education and child development, agriculture and food security programs. CDO Uganda has taken the approach of understanding the community needs. The methodology of CDO (U) is twofold. One is to empower communities to meet the needs of the children. Secondly, CDO (U) works with families and household members in the community to enable them provide for the health and education to their very vulnerable children. We believe that the total development of children through activities of health, education and childcare will lead to the development of the entire community.

$5 provides access to a child under five years old to get much needed immunisation against the major killer diseases like polio.

This project can be visited anytime of the year. From Kampala we are about a six hours drive away to Gulu town. You can reach Hope on +256772640698 or [email protected] for more information.
