Here is an example of just how much $5USD can help. Huge difference. No cost.

The ability to buy medicine for the whole month for one victim.

The project aims to provide basic healthcare services for the victims of trafficking admitted to the shelter of ECPAT's members by employing nurse and counselors through the establishment of medical room and child friendly counseling room. Besides the basic services being provided, the victims of trafficking are referred to government health centres or hospitals for serious sickness. The government health professionals are trained on how to support the victims. In addition, they are trained on how to identify and rescue the victim in case they witness the trafficking cases.

$5 would be able to buy medicines for one month for one victim and refer them to the specialized services.

The donor can visit the shelter by sending request in advance. Child Protection Policy must be read and agreed in advance before the arrival. It takes 2 hours to travel to Takeo province.

What To Bring

Travelers are advised to bring something that is relevant to the project they are supporting such as medicines, clothes, toys. Money is not allowed to give directly to the child within the shelter
